In the village of Phan Thiet in the south of Vietnam, approximately 300 people affected by leprosy live in extremely poor conditions. To improve the living conditions of the villagers, the St. Lazarus-Fonds implemented the following aid projects in Phan Thiet:

  • Construction of 20 basic houses and wells for the residents

  • Scholarships for the schoolchildren in the village

  • Medical care for leprosy patients
